WOODLAND RAMBLE

The Woodland Ramble, at the southern end of the park, forms a creative natural space for freeform interactions. Preliminary southern boundary Sheoak plantings were undertaken by volunteers in 2019 funded by a Macedon Ranges Shire Council grant.

The master plan for this space includes a rambling trail through a buffer of trees and a hut building frame. The proposed Drooping Sheoak plantation references the Pine plantation once planted near the historic school site.

Construction of the Woodland Ramble will commence in 2021 with completion anticipated by June 2022. It has been funded by the Victorian State Government (Regional Development Victoria) and Macedon Ranges Shire Council.
